PCG monitors over 67,000 travelers in seaports across the country
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) monitored more than 67,000 inbound and outbound passengers in seaports nationwide on Maundy Thursday. Of this figure, more than 38,000 passengers traveled outbound, while over 29,000 were inbound from midnight to 6 a.m., according to PCG’s morning advisory. To ensure public safety in all ports, the agency said it deployed over 3,000 frontline personnel currently assigned to 15 PCG districts....
